Reaction of bis(α-hydroxyalkyl)phenylphosphines with isopropyl ester of diphenylboric acid in the presence of tertiary amines

Conclusions

In the presence of amines, sulfur or selenium, bis(α-hydroxymethyl)phenylphosphines reacted with the isobutyl ester of diphenylboric acid to give ammonium salts of 1,3,2,5-dioxaborataphosphirane sulfides (selenides).
