Conclusions
-
1.
An x-ray diffraction structural analysis yielded the structure of the 2∶1 molecular complex ofα-(o-hydroxyphenoxy)benzylphosphonic acid with 1,4-dioxane.
-
2.
The conformation of the C13H13O5P acid was established and its relationship to the complexation properties of this molecule was shown.
