Conclusions

  1. 1.

    A simple method has been developed for the synthesis of bis(9-o-carboranyl) ditelluride and bis(9-m-carboranyl) ditelluride by means of the electrophilic telluration of o-and m-carborane by TeCl4 in the presence of AlCl3.
