Conclusions
-
1.
On the basis of an analysis of 53 correlation times and diffusion coefficients of molecules it has been shown that a modified Kirkwood-Steele-Huntress equation predicts the correlation times and the diffusion coefficients in unassociated solvents with a precision of ∼15%.
-
2.
It has been confirmed experimentally with within the framework of this theory it is possible to compute the coefficients of forward diffusion from the values of the correlation theories, and vice versa.
