Conclusions

By the action of ammonia, ethylenediamine, o-phenylenediamine, 2-acetyl-substituted polyfluorinated Β-keto esters undergo an “acidic” splitting with the elimination of the polyfluoroacyl group in the form of the corresponding derivatives.

Besides the splitting, 2-acetyl-substituted polyfluorinated Β-keto esters reactwith hydrazine and phenylhydrazine at the Β-diketonic” fragment to form substituted pyrazoles.
