Catalytic hydroformamination of 2,5-dimethoxy-2,5-dihydrofurans

Abstract

N-Substituted 3- and 4-formylpyrroles have been obtained by hydroformamination of 2,5-dimethoxy-2,5-dihydrofurans in the presence of HRh(CO)(PPh3)3.
