Summary

The types of glomerular alterations in mice after repeated intraperitoneal injections of egg albumin over several weeks are studied. The application of different amounts of this foreign protein results either in glomerulonephritis or glomerulonephrosis, antigenantibody complexes apparently being in any case the leading pathogenic factor. The resulting glomerular alterations, in relation to presumably different compositions of the antigenantibody complexes, are discussed. An incomplete immunologie unresponisveness after great amounts of egg albumin seems to modify the composition of the antigen-antibody complexes in such a way that there appears the picture of a glomerulonephrosis.
