Conclusions
Low temperature x-ray structural analysis of N-phenyl-N′-methoxydiazene-N-oxide has revealed that the planar conjugated methoxydiazene oxide fragment exists in a Z-configuration with the phenyl substituent rotated about it by a 26° angle.
