Conclusions

We have synthesized the novel cyclopendant complexon 1,5,8,12-tetrakis(dihydroxyphosphorylmethyl)-1,5,8,12-tetraazacyclotetradecane and studied its acid-base and complexing properties.

The prepared compound is characterized by high selectivity of complex formation with respect to the copper (II) ion.
