Conclusions
-
1.
An x-ray diffraction structural analysis gave the structure of the first complex of pentacoordinated Pt(II) with a free radical o-semiquinone ligand.
-
2.
The trigonal bipyramidal geometry of the complex determined by ESR spectroscopy is in good accord with the x-ray diffraction structural analysis data.
