Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The behavior of arenechromium carbonyl complexes containing a silicon atom in the π-ligand was studied under electron impact conditions. It was shown that the degree of splitting the chromium-ligand bonds depends on the number of the vibrational degrees of freedom of the aromatic ligand.

     
  2. 2.

    It has been suggested that the dehydroalkylation of the ArCr+ ion leads to the formation of cyclic structures or structures containing a Si=C bond.
