Location of a gene conditioning seed coat colour in linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) using chromosomal interchanges

Abstract

The geneG, conditioning seed coat colour was found to be located at 15.37±3.05 map units from the breakage point of one of six newly induced interchanges in linseed. Since no information about the karyotype in linseed is available, the chromosome on whichG is located, cannot be specified.
