Summary

  1. 1.

    The compositions of the mixtures of isomers of di(buta-1,3-dienyl) derivatives of the elements of group VIA have been determined by a combination of1H and13C NMR spectroscopic methods.

  2. 2.

    In the isomers of the compounds (C4H2=C3HC2H=C1H)2E, where E=S, Se, Te, the shielding of the C1 atom rises symbatically with the decrease in the electronegativity of the elements. The screening of the C2-C4 atoms decreases. The1H and13C chemical shifts of the CH2 group are insensitive to a change in the nature of the heteroatom.
