Anisotropy of the polarizability and spatial structure of some diarylmethanes

Summary

In the molecules of symmetrically substituted diarylmethanes, the CAr2 grouping has the C2 symmetry with an orientation of the aryl nuclei close to the eclipsing of the bonds of the central atom.
