Conclusions

The homogeneous stoichiometric reaction of synthesis of aromatic alcohols in the reaction of iron carbonyl complexes of phenylacetylene with CO and H2, the model of analogous heterogeneous synthesis on a melted iron catalyst, was conducted.

Complexes with a binuclear structure exhibit significantly higher reactivity than mononuclear complexes.
