Conclusions

A method of treatment of experimental data (accounting for nonideality of the gas phase) using the thermal adsorption equation is proposed. The parameters of this equation are found. The proposed approximate dependence satisfactorily describes the experiment.

The dependencies of the separation coefficient, α, for a mixture of H2-D2 on the parameters of the adsorptive equilibrium are obtained. It is found that α in a chosen range of parameters does not depend on the total pressure of the gas mixture and with increased temperature ceases to depend on the composition of the gas phase.

It is shown that the theory of ideal solution, i.e., the method of estimating the partial pressures of binary mixtures of H2-D2 on zeolite NaX from individual isotherms is not applicable. The given solutions are nonideal and have a positive deviation from Raoult's law.
