Conclusions

The reaction of diphenylcarbodiimide with phenyl glycidyl ether gives 3-phenyl-5-phenoxymethyl-2-N-phenyliminooxazolidine, which, in contrast to a number of substituted iminooxazolidines, does not isomerize to the corresponding imidazolidinone when heated to 250°.
