Conclusions
-
1.
The parameters of the polarizability ellipsoid of the trichloroacetamide group were determined.
-
2.
Dichloroacetamide in dioxane is in the form of an equilibrium mixture of conformers with predominance of the less polar conformer.
-
3.
A structure with a gauche-gauche conformation of the Cl-C-N-C-Cl chain is most probable for N,N-di(chloromethyl)trichloroacetamide.
