Synthesis of 3-amino-5-benzylamino-4-nitropyrazole

Conclusion

A new efficient method has been developed for the synthesis of 3-amino-5-benzylamino4-nitropyrazole. The key step of this procedure is the preparation of l,l-di(alkylamino)-2nitro-2-cyanoethylenes by the condensation of nitroacetonitrile with isothiourea derivatives.
