Reaction of diisobutylchlorophosphine with 1,1-dichloro-1-nitrosoalkanes in the presence of SO2 and ethyl mercaptan
Diisobutylchlorophosphine reacts exothermally with 1,1-dichloro-1-nitrosoalkanes in the presence of SO2 to give O-alkylchloroformiminodiisobutylphosphinates, while in the presence of ethyl mercaptan this reaction gives O-alkylchloroformiminodiisobutylthiophosphinates.
