Electrohydrogenation of ethyl acetoacetate on a modified nickel catalyst

Conclusions

The enantioselective electrohydrogenation of ethyl acetoacetate in the region of the anodic and cathodic potentials of the Ni electrode-catalyst, in relation to the reversible hydrogen electrode, proceeds with the enantioselectivity of ∼10%.
