Conclusions

Molecules of aromatic nitrocompounds are shown to be located directly over the metal ion in molecular complexes which are formed in chloroform with meso-tetraphenylporphinatoiron (III) chloride using1H and13C NMR methods. The stability constants of the corresponding adducts are similar in the case of meso-tetraphenylporphinates of Fe(III) and Co(II).
