Conclusions
-
1.
The dependence of the rate constant of reverse electron transfer in triplet exciplexes having the structure of radical-ion pairs on the free energy of the process passes through a maximum in the vicinity of 1 eV.
-
2.
An internal-heavy-atom effect is observed for the triplet exciplexes: the rate constant of reverse electron transfer increases when Br atoms are introduced into the reactants as substituents.
