Study of the kinetics of the oxidation of palladium(II) by inorganic free radicals in acidic aqueous solutions by pulse radiolysis

  • Published:
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Conclusion

The rate constants for the reactions of OH., NO3 ., and SO4− . with Pd(II) ions in aqueous solutions of the acids have been measured by the pulse radiolysis method. An inner-sphere mechanism of electron transfer.occurs in such reactions.
