1.
The diamagnetic susceptibilities of a series of decaborane derivatives B10H12L2 were studied by the static magnetic susceptibility method, and the increment ¯χ=125 for the nidocluster ¦B10H12¦ and the atomic increment ¯χB=9.0 in this cluster were derived.

2.
The absolute value of χB in the ¦B10H12¦ cluster is substantially greater than χB for noncluster systems (2.7–7.6). This difference confirms the delocalization of the electrons in ¦B10H12¦ and the aromatic character of this nido-cluster.
