Zusammenfassung

Schilderung einer Sektionstechnik zur Darstellung der Halswirbelsäule. Nach einem Sägeschnitt parallel zur Crista pyramidis wird ein occipitaler Schädelbasissektor zusammen mit der Halswirbelsäule herausgenommen. Es können so bei gutem kosmetischem Effekt an der Leiche leicht dargestellt werden die Articulatio atlanto-dentalisventralis et dorsalis, die Membrana atlanto-occipitalis, Kleinhirnbrückenwinkel-Tumoren und das innere Ohr.

Summary

A new method for the post-mortem examination of the cervical vertebral column is described. By sawing parallel to the crista pyramidis, an occipital sector of the basal skull is obtained, which can be removed together with the cervical spine. Thus, without mutilating the corpse one has a good overall view of the articulatio atlanto-dentalis ventralis et dorsalis, the membrana atlanto-occipitalis, and of the tumors of the cerebellopontile angle and the inner ear.
