    Manganese and rheniumη 5-cyelopentadienyl and Cr, Mo, and Wη 6-benzene complexes react with mercury acetate and trifluoroacetate, forming a mercury-metal bond.

  2. 2.

    Coordination to the metal atom is accompanied by aνCO frequency increase and band intensity change.
