Reactions of bisarene organochromium compounds with polyhydric alcohols

Conclusions

The reaction of bisarenechromium(O) with glycerine and ethyleneglycol proceeds through the formation of the corresponding bisarenechromium(I) cations and leads to chromiura(III) glycerate and glycolate.
