Conclusion
The reaction of 6-methyl-2-thiouracil with p-nitrophenyldiazonium tetrafluoroboride in the presence of CuCl2·2H2O yielded a 1∶4 cooligomer of 6-methyl-2-thiouracil and 6-methyluracil.
