Synthesis of a platinum(0) ethylene complex by the hydrazine method

Conclusions

The (η2-ethylene)-bis(triphenylphosphine)platinum(0) complex was obtained by the hydrazine method from (Ph3P)2PtCl2 and ethylene in 2-propanol.
