Conclusions
-
1.
We synthesized 1-chloromercuri-3-ethoxyadamantane, the first organomercury compound in which the metal atom is attached directly to the adamantane fragment.
-
2.
The13C NMR spectrum of 1-chloromercuri-3-ethoxyadamantane was studied in two solvents; the values of the chemical shifts and13C-199Hg spin coupling constants were obtained and discussed.
