1.
The methods of thermal analysis have been used to establish certain characteristic temperature ranges for the breakdown of n-octadecylamine, n-butylamine, and tetrapropylamine, introduced into natural clinoptiloiite and other carriers (mordenite, zeolite Y, Al2O3, SiO2, and ZSM-5 zeolite) of varying porosities and surface compositions.

2.
The temperatures for initiation of oxidation, for intensive thermal oxidative destruction, and for complete combustion of the secondary condensation products could be clearly marked out on the DTA curves. The positions of these points are closely dependent on the nature of the hydrocarbon chain and the pore structure of the carrier.
