Conclusions

Dialkyl N-butyl-N-isobútenylamidophosphites are readily oxidized by oxygen, react with methyl iodide to form the corresponding methyl phosphonates, and react with acetyl chloride to give a dialkyl chlorophosphite and N-butyl-N-isobutenylacetamide.

Ethyl and triethylsilyl bis (N-butyl-N-isobutenylamido)phosphites react with carbon tetrachloride to form bis(N-butyl-N-isobutenylamido)chlorophosphate and 1,1,1-trichloropropane and trimethyltrichloromethylsilane, respectively.
