Conclusions
The interaction of the thionocarbonates of fluoro- and nitro-containing alcohols with chlorinating (Cl2, SO2Cl2) and fluorinating (F2, AgF, SbF5) agents gave the dichloro- and difluorohalogenoformals of the corresponding alcohols.
