Conclusions
-
1.
Most Ca2+ ions in type A and ZK-4 zeolites are less active adsorption sites with respect to molecules of CO2 than the Na+ ions of the corresponding Na zeolites.
-
2.
The heats of adsorption of NH3 on Ca zeolites are higher than on Na zeolites.
-
3.
Substitution of Ca2+ ions by Mg2+ ions in type A zeolites weakly affects the heats of adsorption of NH3, but results in a sharp decrease in the heats of adsorption of CO2.
