Conclusions

  1. 1.

    Schemes are proposed for the oxidation-reduction transformatiosn of polyaniline in acid media. Polyaniline was shown to undergo two oxidation-reduction transitions, accompanied by the formation of radical-cations in the polymer chain, which react to form dications upon an increase in their concentration.

     
  2. 2.

    Change in the pH of the polyaniline film is accompanied by a sharp drop in the radical concentration at pH ≈ 3.5.
