Conclusions
-
1.
Radicals CCl3 are added to vinyl monomers of type CH2=CHX (X=C6H5, COCH3, COOCH3 CN, OC2H5, C6H13, CH2Cl, and Si(CH3)3) 3–10 times faster than radicals Cl(CH2)2CCl2.
-
2.
The reactivity of the vinyl groups in CH2-CHX towards radicals CCl3 and Cl(CH2)2ĊCl2 decreases by over an order of magnitude in the sequence X=C6H5, COCH3, COOCH3, CN.
