Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

Indium atoms have been obtained in aqueous solutions of univalent indium by pulse radiolysis.

  2. 2.

In0 reacts with In+ to form the dimer In +2 .

  3. 3.

The optical characteristics of these particles, the rate constants for their formation and loss, as well as the oxidation-reduction potentials have been determined.
