Synthesis of monosubstituted divinyl sulfides

Conclusions

Sodium ethenethiolate obtained from readily available divinyl sulfide reacts with allyl chloride and phenylacetylene to form vinyl 1-propenyl sulfide and vinyl styryl sulfide.
