Conclusions

  1. 1.

The feasibility of CO ligand substitution reactions accompanying electrochemical oxidation has been demonstrated for the first time using arenechromiumtricarbonyl and phosphite complexes.

  2. 2.

Intramolecular CO substitution has been demonstrated electrochemically for arenecarbonyl chromium complexes containing a phosphine functional group in the ω-position of the side chain.

  3. 3.

The effects of various structural factors on the redox properties of arenechromium chelate complexes have also been investigated.
