Conclusions

  1. 1.

The acidic properties of cyclo-Os3(μ-H)(μ-OH)(CO)9L clusters [L=CO (I), Ph3P (II)] were studied.

  2. 2.

The pK values of the Os3(μ-H)(μ-OH)(CO)10 (pK 10.1) and OS3(μ-H)(μ-OH)(Ph3P)(CO)9 (pK 11.2) clusters (pK 11.2) in DMSO show that the Os3 ring has a much stronger influence on the acidity of the OH group bound to it than, for example, the phenyl ring (pKDMSO of phenol 19.1).
