Hydrogen atom transfer reactions from the SH group of thiols to OH adducts to uracil during radiolysis

Conclusions

Under the conditions of radiolysis, of the two OH adducts of uracil, only the C5-OH adduct reacts with thiols to form 5-hydroxydihydrouracil.
