Abstract
The influence of short-range low-temperature annealing and tempering on the resonance spectra of domain boundaries in polycrystalline lithium aluminates is investigated. The change in signal spectrum after heat treatment permitted the detection of the existence of a critical temperature from which, after tempering, the domain wall mobility in this ferrite diminishes abruptly. Critical annealing temperatures are found for which a strong increase in boundary mobility occurs in pretempered specimens. The investigated influence of heat treatments on the magnetization curves and resonance spectra of domain walls afforded a possibility of determining the contribution of domain boundary displacement processes to the initial dynamic permeability of the ferrites investigated and of finding the change in shape of the magnetization curve because of blocking of the domain walls.
