Abstract

A flare-loop prominence appeared over a complex sunspot group in McMath region No. 11895, on May 24,1972. The evolution of the loop prominence and its relation to a flare were observed using Hα and Ca K filters. Soft X-ray emission between 0.5–20 Å was found to be emitted from the flare-loop prominence system.
