Conclusions

It has been established that there is no significant difference in the transmission ability of the binuclear bridging group Sn-CH2 and the bridging atom Sn. The effectiveness of the transmission of electronic effects of substituents through the tin-containing bridging groups Sn-CH2 and Sn is considerably reduced in a coordinating solvent medium, while for both bridges the “suppression” of the electronic conduction effect is approximately the same.
