Conclusions

For the first time we have shown the feasibility of using pentafluoroperoxybenzoic acid for epoxidization ofα,β-unsaturated esters, linear and cyclic dienes, for obtaining sulfoxides, sulfones, and N-oxides, and also for Baeyer-Villiger oxidation.
