Conclusions
-
1.
This is the first mass spectral study of metal complexes with stable free radicals. The behavior of these compounds upon electron impact is a function of the ligand radical sites.
-
2.
A distinguishing feature of the mass spectra of the mass spectra of the coordination compounds of metals with bidentate ligands containing free radicals is the lack of [M-L]+ ion peaks.
