Elution chromatography during intradiffusion kinetics and longitudinal mixing

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    A noticeable effect of longitudinal mixing on the shape of the exit curves of the elution process can be expected when the values of the parameter Ω ≳10−3.

  2. 2.

    At very high values of Ω the longitudinal mixing can shift the position of the zone maximum.
