Conclusions

Data have been obtained on the kinetics of the joint, deep oxidation of n-pentane, cyclohexane, and p-xylene on an aluminum/platinum catalyst in a circulating-flow reactor. The oxidation of each of these compounds can be described by a single equation.

Similar constructions have been carried out for kinetic models of individual compound oxidations involving simple adsorptional competition mechanisms.
