Conclusions
-
1.
Crystal structures of the cerium molybdenum and uranium molybdenum heteropoly acids have been determined for the first time.
-
2.
A short distance between oxygen atoms of two neighboring polyanions has been found, which allows the suggestion of the presence of a hydrogen bond between them.
-
3.
Distribution of the water molecules in the crystals of the acids is statistical.
